check out :20, you can see a gentleman with an exposed pistol. the big guy. and some drinks near where he was sitting. of course one doesn't know what was in those drinks.

Yup, some do it. Which falls into the rule of avoiding places where folks do it if you can.

If you go to 0:19 and go forward slowly, you will see the guy in the bar doing a 2 handed draw, with his left in front of the pistol, as if to clear something like the shirt. Maybe a pager-pal holster?

It looks like a mid-size handgun, not a subcompact.
