Today, I walked into my local gun store on some unrelated business and walked out with this. I walked in the front door and glanced down at the display case on the immediate right. I immediately caught a gleam of nickel from the bottom shelf. Bent down, looked a little closer and caught my breath. A shiny S&W! A snub nosed Model 10 in nickel, manufactured circa 1982. No pinned barrel and I cried a little over that. No original grips either, squirted a few more because of it. The gun was also mounted with an ill fitting Tyler T-Grip, which I removed. Other than those small points, a pretty cherry piece. Funny thing is, the other day I was thinking I'd like to find one of these and there it was. I'm thinking it needs some stag or ivory grips. I traded a well used Beretta 92FS for it and don't feel the least bit guilty over it.

Sweet, I'd've traded a 92FS for it too, if I had any of those left. I've got a blued, pinned 10 with Magnas of that barrel length. Thumbs up!

Yea, with the square butt, some nice stags would be pretty. One of my favorite revolvers is my 2" 64. It is a RB so it has boot grips on it. My square butt K snubs are fitted with bigger full grips.

That's awful pretty. I can trade you a used Beretta if you don't want to mess it up shooting and carrying it.

It has to be a roscoe. That nickel is too pretty for it to be a heater.
Nice score!

Is that the "nickle-plated sissy pistol" whereof they speak?

That would've been hard to leave in the case, for sure.

Very nice. And while it might be a nickel plated sissy pistol, my bet is that it will outshoot a Gen2 G22 any day of the week, and the rumor is that only hits count.

Well if it's a sissy pistol count me as one 'cause I dig it! :) Pearly grips perhaps?

Nobody but a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry one with pearl grips.

Nice looking gat, 224
