Hey all,

My wife and I are looking for a good pistol class in the central KS area. We are both relatively novice shooters, we haven't had any formal training outside of CCW classes (I hesistate to call any instruction I recieved in the Army on the M9 "training"... yuck). We are both decent at accuracy (can do 3x5 card drill at 7-10 yards consistently), however could use help with speed, drawing, reloads, etc.

If someone could recommend a good class in the area, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
Max

Max,

While it's not a class you might want to look into competitive practical shooting as a skill builder. My club is way far away in SEKS but the Capitol City Practical Shooters in Topeka is close to you and might be worth looking in to.

If nothing else they may know of trainers in your area. You can find their info midway down the KS USPSA Club Page (http://www.uspsa3.org/KansasSection/tabid/138/Default.aspx). I would imagine IDPA has a similar list of club contacts.
