I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this clip. I have always been wondering for a good solution in regards to IWB carry when I don't have access to a belt. One of the solutions I have looked for was to consider having DSG make one of his casual carry appendix holsters as an option, but I wasn't too sold on the clip design.

IMO this clip design looks a lot better and seems like the option to go if you want to carry in those situations without a belt or if you want to carry with a belt, it could be clipped on BEHIND the belt giving you really good concealment. Certainly a better alternative than a remora because of the lack of kydex options to over the trigger securely. It seems like something I have been waiting for, not to mention that it gives the ability to clip ANYWAY including the lip of a bag pocket or sleeve.

There are already a few kydex makers making contructing with it.

There has yet, however, to be a someone to create a dedicated appendix carry holster (or casual appendix carry) holster for it. Thoughts?

both videos show guys with belts using it....but its marketed as being able to be used without a belt? Maybe they are or I am missing something?

One way or another, if you have no support for a firearm and you have to do anything other than sit or walk normally, it will fall out and/or you will lose your gun - #1 reason why soft holsters/pouches are worthless in real life use.

Without a belt this will cause considerable sagging of the pants, even if there is a draw string. You can check this yourself, put some workout pants on with a pullstring belt inside the waistband and clip on a holster with a plastic or metal clip. Do like 10 burpees at workout speed. I'd be surprised if your pants stayed up the whole time.

I'd sooner use this clip on a small blade sheath...

I have a few and have taken a class with one. Pant selection matters a lot, nylon Kuhl pants didn't work well as the waistband moved enough to allow the clip to be opened by the belt over top. Cover garments can open the clip as well.

I did send a pair out for some ECQC abuse and should have some info in a few months.

That's where it excels. I can sell those without guilt.

Isn't that the whole point?

They make massive bulges in your belt. The metal claw clip does everything better.

I don't like them for gun-sized things.

Maybe G43 and smaller I can get behind, but I really think the wide metal clip just does a better job.

These are great foe small fixed blades, though. Wish I could get them without the silly logo...

Good idea. I'll have to try the burpees with my holster on. I have been using a Ulticlip with my Advanced Holster GL-1 for my Glock 29. I haven't had any issues sitting around in my pajamas and dry firing/drawing has been fine. You do have to pull your drawstring tight. I'll test it soon.
