Hi members! Happy July 4th to ya all! I have a question relating to whether or not these two 12ga. shotgun slugs are the same. 12 Gauge Federal LEB127LRS Rifled TruBall Slug Low Recoil versus the Federal 12ga. Vital-Shok 2-3/4" Truball Low Recoil Rifled Slug, 1 oz. .Thank-you sincerely--Semper Fi Till The Day I Die:cool:

I don't know about the slugs or powder, but the Federal LE shotgun ammo uses a solid brass head instead of brass plated steel. The solid brass head should make it a little harder to get a shell stuck in the chamber and make a really bad day into a really really bad day.

Product LEB127LRS and PB127LRS are the same product, LEB127LRS is sold through Law Enforcement distributors.

LEB127LRS is my issued shotgun duty round, and I can report that it's very accurate -- I've seen more than one cloverleaf from the 50-yard line. The specs on PB127LRS are identical, save for the red hull versus blue in the LE loading.
