EU tries real hard to disarm law abiding citizens...

Well, that'll certainly solve all of Europe's problems, no?

I was selling a Sig P239 (.40S&W) on line and a person from Holland emailed me and begged and bribed me with an EXTRA $200 US if i could get the Sig sent to the Netherlands. Twice I explained his offer was breaking US Federal Law. Finally on his third try i published his Emails (WITH HIS NAME AND EMAIL ADDY SHOWN) boy was he PO'd. I told him SORRY his country is run by Socialists slugs. But he was getting any sympathy from me.

Good for them. I just hope that this time around the USA has the good sense to not send any guns their way when they need them Instead we should wait till the blood letting is done and kill whoever is left sanding, cause it sure as heck isnt going to be the pussified Europeans.

I think I read somewhere that the Czech Republic is already planning to allow its own gun laws to override any EU ruling.

You've got me. Apparently the people in Europe are going to be turned into cats, too? *shrug* I was just riffing off what the thread gave me.

I wonder if this is the case of "We have to look like we are doing something, even if it is completely ineffectual!" or simply never letting a crisis go to waste? The Balkans are overrun with fully automatic firearms and ammo, and the Albanian smuggling rings are going to have no trouble getting all the AK's they want to smuggle into Western Europe. And since they are at least nominally Moslem they are going to have no problem with selling them to terrorists. And if the Albanians ever falter, Libya is awash with all kinds of guns and explosives and there is already a flourishing Libya/Italy smuggling trade. Right now they are smuggling people--guns are a lot easier to smuggle.

Making it even tougher for law-abiding Europeans to own guns is going to do nothing to keep them out of the hands of terrorists. Even the European Parliament has to have at least a glimmer of that fact.

I've always especially liked CZs and Tikkas.

Wait...ban guns in the EU to keep them out of the hands of terrorists?

Are Russia, China, North Korea, Pakistan all part of the EU? Because last time I checked they were not. And last time I checked, the ubiquitous terrorist arm of choice was either an AK-variant or a bomb or both. AND it's not an issue of getting the guns in Europe. Does anyone else here think it's difficult at all to smuggle North Korean AKs from Morocco into Spain or from Egypt into Greece and into mainland Europe? I mean they still have CARS and ROADS there. And heaven's to Betsy I'd bet one could stash all of the equipment necessary to recreate the Paris terror attacks in the back of a Fiat Panda...http://www.fiat.com/panda

Move along, nothing to see here, just stupidity from people without brain cells.
