My 18 year old Grand Daughter ( with her mom's blessing) wanted to learn to shoot. Went to Boyert Shooting Center in Katy , TX ( real nice place, they respect the rights of 18 year olds and only needed her ID ( I signed their waiver).

This is my second time with some one New(ER then me, first time wasn't too stellar. Sent wife to a professional female instructor ). This time, I kept it very simple. The four basic rules of safety . Grip stance and loading and racking slide. Just barely touched on trigger control .

Started with a rental; Ruger SR22 ran through a box of 50 and asked her, if she'd like to tryout my 9mm Glock G19 gen 4. The results she showed exceeded my expectations .

Outstanding! I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to learn how to shoot.
