Quote Member; Is that like Bookface tagging?

Got to thinking, say I quoted a member in a thread using the "quote" feature.

(Note: not in the sense of quoting a members post, just putting their user name in the quote feature)

Would they get a notice they'd been tagged?

Situation was, say, in the event I wanted someone that I knew would be interested in a post, I could maybe "tag" them in this way.

Would the board software support this already?

I'd try it, but I didn't want to do that to someone out of the blue. But I was curious if it might work like that.

I do use Tapatalk a good bit; guess I forgot about that feature being unique to tt.

Well, cool, glad I asked. I'd guess I would use that feature if it were enabled in the future; not sure about others. But glad to know conceptually it might work.
