Snagged one up so I'm spending less time in the garage loading, and more time casting/coating bullets if I'm in the garage/spending time with the family. Initially I was drawn to the GSI system, but the mixed bag for that and the dependence on one bullet type led me away from it.

Instead I grabbed up the mr bullet feeder. I was planning on getting the mini kit with the rotary magazine, but I'd just be trading one bit of time for another and got the more expensive collator fed one. I'm very glad I did.

The unsung star of the show is the expander for the powder dump. It expands deeper into the case straight, with a minor bell. It allows for the bullet to be positioned vertically and not fall over when the press indexes.

All said the setup was easy, detailed photos will follow later. I can run the press a fair amount faster than in the video, but can't do it through a computer screen. The ammo is more consistent than hand placing the bullets as well.

Cool, I keep hearing praises for the Mr. Bullet Feeder. How much of an increase would you say are you seeing in your reloading time?

I am not the OP but things got about 2 min/100rds faster for me when I got my Mr. Bullet Feeder installed on my 650.

Very rough timing is around a round every 2 seconds after working from 0600 to 2000 and really needing dinner and a glass of wine. I stopped loading since I'm out of billets (new mold just arrived, I'll be casting and coating this week) and was watching my supply levels to avoid wasting primers.

I'd imagine if I work it with having all my primer tubes filled I could easily get a round every 1.75 seconds or faster, and take about 20 seconds to refill primers and add a cup of bullets and brass. Conservatively I'm looking at 1,500+ an hour

I have found one annoyance with this, and it's simply that the kit won't feed my unsized bullets as they can be too large to go through the tube. No big deal since I've been experimenting with different sizes for my handgun, and sizing them to the same proper diameter will only help make more accurate ammo. I'm working with 125 grain round nose flat point .38 special bullets cast from scrap that I apply HiTek coating to prior to sizing.

Now to make a contraption to feed these bullets to my single stage press while using the bullet collator from this kit to really speed things up....and a primer tube filler.
