So I've seen this picture three times already in the last 24hrs. Is this for real? Suppose to debut at the NRA Convention this weekend. I'll be there so I will see if I can find it. Anyone got any information on it or is this total BS? I'm still leaning toward it being total bull shit! I just don't think it worth it for Glock.

Just found that pic on google. I think you are correct in that it's a total hoax. I will take my lashings for creating turmoil.

I'm very, very skeptical. While I can somewhat see the point and viability of a 1911-style removable bushing slide, the re-engineering of the Gen4 frame for 1911 fire controls (and the probable increase in receiver rail length) would seem to be dauntingly resource - and cost-prohibitive-and out of sych with Glock's purportive business model as I understand it.

It would also seem to be at cross-purposes, both conceptually and market-wise to the G41.

I'm suspecting a photoshop exercise here more than anything else.
