Today the acting NJ AG issued updated interpretations regarding "Justifiable Need" for carry permits, guide lines for timely and proper processing of "handgun purchase permits" and "firearms ID Cards" and "Reasonably Necessary Deviations" in firearms transportation. While this is far from the reform that needs to come to NJ with regards to it's firearms laws, it does provide some needed relief.

It's a start.

When the next AG takes his place, the old way is sure to return.
NJ is a State of men, apparently.

How the heck is the average honest citizen supposed to keep up with AG "updated interpretations"?
Crap like this makes me furious.

Oh I agree that the situation is maddening. Fortunately AGs haven't made a habit of reversing previous AGs guidelines in the past. Hopefully that custom will continue. We do need legislative change to fully correct the situation.
