Trijicon RMR build date considerations

Trijicon RMR 06 optics are few and far between now, with uncertainty as to when Trijicon will be shipping more. I found a 2014 manufacture RM06 new at a place in Montana. How does a 2014 manufacture 06 compare to a 2015 or 2016 manufacture RM06?

IIRC, DocGKR was recommending sights above the 108400 serial number range; this was back in 2013, so I would think the 2014 production would be acceptable.
