So I thought these may be a good option for my home defense carbine..Simple, gives me double the amount of ammo, a second source of ammo incase my magazine shits the bed, and way cheaper then a ready mag.

experiences/thoughts?

Thanks for the link. I just ordered a couple if for nothing else than the novelty.

Are they as good mags as PMAGS? Are they so good they are better than PMAGS joined by MagLinkŪ Couplers? (https://www.magpul.com/products/maglink-coupler-pmag-30-40-ar-m4)

I like them because they remind me of g36 mags honestly.. I like that they are metal reinforced at the lips.

I don't believe there are reinforced. They are awesome mags, though

I like that they are coupled without the need for tools. the follower operation also feels smoother (in both Glock and AR mag models) than the Magpul counterparts. Time will tell, but I plan on picking up some of the ETS mags.
