My wonderful wife bought me a 9mm P2000 as a push present. Granted she used my credit card and all that but at least I do not have to buy a new slide for p2000 in 40 so thats good.

I have meprolights on my P2000 in 40 and my glocks have Hackathrons and 10-8 fibers right now. My VP9 and P30 have 10-8 fiber fronts and rears.

Right now it seems like there are only 5 options: Trijicons, Trijicon HDs, Meprolights, XS, and stock.

I want as thin of a front sight as I can while still being useful for everyday carry. This will be a carry gun for me EDC type since I carried a P2000 everywher until last year I have some support gear left but need to guy a a holster or two just in case.

IRRC, the issue with the P2000s is not the front sight, but the rear sight. I believe that the rear sight is proprietary, but the front sights are interchangeable with the P30/HK45. The only thing that you'll want to look out for is to make sure that the front sight height works with whatever rear sight you're looking for.

Oh, and Dear Ameriglo. Please make Spartan Tactical sights for the P2000. I will give you money. Sincerely, customer.

While I don't have this combo on a P2000, I think the ideal set-up might be the TFX Pro front paired with a classic Trijicon yellow two dot rear.

That looks like a good setup now to find them in singles.

I called and they won't sell the front sight individually.

Thanks GJM. I wonder what P30 front would go with the rear. I have a VP9 that I need to replace a factory sight set on.

If you go to the Trijicon website, they provide dimensions for their various sights, and that should get you started.
