Taurus pt1911

I just got the Taurus pt 1911 and I took it apart to clean it and when I was putting it back together the slide got stuck back and I had to use a little force to free it, I was wondering what might have caused it and if anyone else had this problem

Binding up on the disconnector?

I don't think it was the disconnector, I think it may have been the barrel link

Barrel link is only a factor in the first .350"(ish) of travel.(only true if the slide stop is installed and in the link) Was it with the slide stop in? Under spring tension? Is it still doing it, or only the once? Is it a new spring, what caliber? Full length guide rod?

My pt111 did that once when new, I got it freed up and it never did it again.
