They are both excellent pistols. What are you not liking with the HK? What do you think you're gaining with the P320? Do you have a lot of time/rounds on the HK?

I have a wide variety of auto pistols including the P320C 9mm. I am a big fan of the platform, as I am also a fan of other platforms (Beretta 92 series, Glocks, USP's, etc.). It has a great trigger and I love the modularity of the pistol, especially for an NJ'er. I haven't stippled the frame and do find it slips around a bit when actually shooting it. Unlike, for me, a G19 which I can really lock onto. I recently went to a range with the 320 and rented a VP9 to compare. They both had their pro's / con's as I'm sure the P2000 also has. I am nowhere near the experience / skill level of many here, but I would guess your experience / skill level would need to be understood to fully evaluate what you're asking.

If the P2000 is in 9x19, I would take the P2000 side of that trade. I have a P320C, and I much prefer the hammer-fired guns to any of the striker-fired guns. I really like the modular building-block design of the P320, and the trigger is really sweet, but I really want a hammer for a gun that is going into a holster. I probably should try a P250, but I am pretty locked into the P30 platform.
