Good places to shoot in St. Louis area

I will be living in Illinois but am only a twenty minute drive from St. Louis. Anyone know of any good ranges or groups of pf.com shooters who meet up and train?

I've heard good things about the Arnold rifle and pistol club, but I've never been there. It's far enough from me that it makes no sense for me to drive over there.
