Law takes effect in 90 days.

Today, March 5, the West Virginia State Senate voted 23-11 to override Governor Earl Ray Tomblin’s veto of HB 4145, the permitless carry bill. The Senate’s action, the final step to ensuring the provisions of HB 4145 become law, came less than 24 hours after the West Virginia House of Delegates voted on Friday to override Tomblin’s veto by an overwhelming 64-33 vote.
House Bill 4145 will go into effect on May 26, 2016.

I watched the override vote from the Senate gallery. This has been a long two year battle and to say that I'm happy and relieved would be a major understatement.

This bill covers all Americans, not just WV residents.

I was in Charleston for business last month and there were Everytown For Gun Safety billboards all over calling out politicians for supporting this. A hearty F-U to those punks! Money down the drain
