Wolff 5% extract power magazine springs for S&W shield

Smith uses the same length springs in the 7 round mags as with the 8 rounders so while they still maintain tension in the smaller magazine the springs in the 8 round mags feel like they are dying.

I haven't had any failures yet, but rounds seem to move slowly up in the magazine when unloading them.

Any known issues with Wolff magazine springs with the extra 5% tension?

I haven't used them in the Shield as I just use the 7 round mags in mine for better concealability but I've used the Wolff +10% springs in full size double stack mags without any ill effect. I wouldn't hesitate to carry them in the Shield (with a few test magazines on the range first).
