I am new to this forum and have some questions about the M9-22cal. I want to buy a 22auto with an external hammer and was considering the Browning 1911 22. I noticed the other day that Beretta now has a M9-22. I am just an occasional plinker when it comes to handguns but a couple of years ago I thought I would try a 9MM so I bought an M92. I am no expert shot but can roll tin cans fairly consistently with the 22 revolvers and revolvers I own. I could not hit the broadside of anything with that 9MM so I sold it. Here are my questions:
1. Is the M9-22 fairly accurate without a fine tuning (trigger etc.)?
2. Is it reliable with different brands of 22 ammo or is it sensitive like they say about most brands except the Browning?
3. How difficult is it to load 15 rounds and can you get an easy-loader tool for it?
I posted this on Firing Line with no replies so I will try this forum.
Thanks
