New Glock .40 Ejector

I saw ToddG's post that Glock was coming out with a new .40 Ejector as well. As it would happen I had sent in two of my early Gen 4 G35's for slide replacement. I sent one of the frames back as I wanted it check out and they replaced all the parts of the frame. I was just putting the gun back together and noticed that Sure enough it had a new Ejector on it. The ejector is very much like the new 9mm ejector, same length but does not have the same bends in it.
Ive not shot it yet but I'll try to do that here soon.

I do kinda find this odd as I've not had any issues with my gen4 .40's. ( not that it means anything)

I'm not at liberty to get into details, but suffice to say the new ejector was developed because there were people having problems on an institutional level with their .40-cal gen4 guns.

Even though our four Gen 4's continue running great (only 18K across the set) I would upgrade to these when I have a chance. They make sense and I do see a fair amount of funny ejections over my head etc. I've only got stoned in the forehead sveral times across all that shooting and all came from a box of WWB 100 rd value pack. Caught one of them on vid shooting a Vice Presidente. There is I think some ammo component in the equation as I've never got nailed like that except during that one box.

But I look forward to trying this new design out someday.
