Sight height

I just had a buddy give me a spare 10-8 fiber optic front sight for a Glock. I have several old metal rear sights, mostly trijicon night sights. I decided to throw the fiber optic sight on one of my Glock 19s that still has the plastic factory sights. Do any of you know if the height of the 10-8 front sight is compatible with the standard Glock rear, or metal trijicon rear? Will I have to buy a 10-8 rear sight to use the free 10-8 front sight?

(I can not find my micrometer to measure the things...)
