Anyone have problems putting a 20" AR upper on a carbine lower?

I have an extra AR-15 lower that I am trying to decide how I want to configure. It has a carbine buffer tube, and a H-buffer. I was thinking of turning it into a classic 20" govt profile M16 config(rifle length gas), only with the adjustable carbine stock. Does anyone know if any problems with using this setup?

I've done that several times in the past, never had an issue. The only problems I ever heard about was using the carbine buffer on such a set-up and when firing full auto.

This is true. And once upon a time, I believe I read KevinB state on another board that the C7A2 uses an H2 buffer.
