He is/was a rare breed in the music world in that he really did have his own thing going. Unlike so many that copy, Bowie was an original, a trend setter. He always wanted to evolve. From that he some success, some failures, but he was always him.

I only got to see him once. Like McQueen, he is somebody I've always wanted to be as cool as.
