If you make it though to part 3 of this, the part regarding letting the bad guy run to get away was...interesting. I know there are quite a few LE on the forum and would like to get your take. Basically in part 3 (if you want to skip to that part) it discusses engaging a bg in your home and letting them free.

If the dude tries to bolt, my choices as Suzy Civilian are:


Let him go.
Shoot a fleeing person.
Give chase.

I agree 100% if the bg "bolts", just interesting the article encourage the person to run. Points out:
