2015 P-F Secret Santa:
Using Elfster participants will join the exchange link below, populate a wishlist, and do this all by Friday the 11th. That’s a week, surely we can all think of stuff we want within that timeframe. Names will be drawn that evening and that will give us the weekend to buy stuff and get shipping rolling. Since Amazon has lots of cool stuff that we like and most people use Prime and have a wishlist already it’s just a matter of copying relevant items over. If we purchase on the 12th-14th it’s reasonable to expect the items before the next weekend and there will be enough time for USPS to guarantee delivery with Priority before Christmas.

What is Elfster? It’s a website that I’ve used for 3 or 4 years now with multiple exchanges a year. It’s slick and easy.

When you create your profile there is a section for a nickname and website, set these up so that forum folks can identify who they’re paired with.



Price: $50 (shipping excluded)

Limitations: The only thing that I refrain from doing personally is gifting things I make unless explicitly asked for. To resolve this folks can just add anything from potentially participating makers/companies to their list, or state what they own in their profile and people can proceed accordingly. If you get a discount or run a shop and can score someone a $200 item for $50 go for it.

On Friday I will set it to pair people up and you'll have your name sent to you.

The Pendleton Westerly was something I bought... Unfortunately it was a little pricier than our SS limit was. I did get it 30% off though.

I got my stuff a while back, was very happy and used my items regularly.. Well last night I got another package! I either missed it on the tracking or it wasn't there. So now I've had Christmas from PF twice!

Bumping this. I wanna run another this year with some tweaked criteria and a jump on things. Figure we can draw names before Thanksgiving and those who don't have an Elfster account now can register, if they want, and begin populating their wish lists as well as adding some info to what they have and what they don't have. Folks can add things they do not need and generically add "I shoot a G17" or something like that.

Last year I got everything I asked for, felt really bad. So who ever was my sugar daddy err.. secret santa. You made me happy and sad at the same time haha. Felt guilty. I ended up spending 50ish I think on mine.
