So apparently FN has come out with damn near exact replicas of the M-16A4 & M4 they provide for the armed services. Obviously select fire and barrel length comply with the NFA, but everything else is correct including roll marks, sights, & the KAC rail system. I will definitely be getting both an M-16 and an M4. I continue to be impressed with my basic FN-15 rifle. It's just a great gun. Fit/finish is excellent and the accuracy/reliability has been superb.

So do these have FN roll marked on the side vs laser engraved?

My standard old proletariat FN-15 16" M4'ish has been an outstanding carbine, right up there with my Colt M4'ish 6920's.
Not a fan of the KAC rail, or the ambi safety.
