I have been wanting a knife from Battle Horse Knives for a while now. Battle Horse Knives is Half of the now defunct Blind Horse Knives and is headquartered in my home state of O-Tucky.

This one caught my eye at the latest Gun and Knife show where I hawk my wares. The Broken Trail, O-1 Tool Steel, Black Canvas Micarta scales with a full flat grind and a scary sharp secondary bevel.

And, of course I had to make a VersaSheath in Black Carbon Fiber for it. It rides perfectly at the SOB position.

Nice blade Rich. I have Blind Horse Knives FFG Bushcrafter, scary sharp knife. Do you have any pics that show thickness? Kind of a Strider profile to that one, I like it.

OAL just under 8"
3" cutting edge
5/32" thick blade

Sorry for the cheesy iPhone pics!

haha, pic is fine. I'm a photobug, and I can't tell you the last time I took a pic that wasn't with my iPhone. Any pic you see posted from me in the last two years has been with one iPhone or another.

Anyway, thanks for the pic. I was especially interested in the thickness of the scales, and that pic did the job. It's thinner than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. 5/32nds is a hefty little blade, should be a tough one, especially in O1. The last thing I need is another EDC sized fixed blade, but this one is compelling.
