In two monster shows, the need for a bug is highlighted.
In Innocent Blood with Robert Loggia, he is attacked by seductive vampire. He pulls a J-frame from an ankle holster and shoots her off him.
In last nights, Ash vs. the Evil Dead, two officers go to a supernatural site. It is has zombies. One officer is infected despite fighting well and eliminating some with a shotgun. When he turns, he attacks his female partner. Deprived of her service gun, she is knocked to ground and pulls a double barrel derringer from an ankle holster and shoots him off.
True, the two shot gun fired 4 shots but that's ok.
They stayed in the fight!
