Yeah, SCOTUS' refusal to take up an identical ordinance from San Francisco will likely embolden localities, where not preempted, and perhaps even some states to adopt very restrictive storage laws.

Can you imagine the uproar over government intrusion into personal property rights and private property rights if the tried to regulate safe storage of sex toys, medical and personal use marijuana and other drugs. Guns, sure, but don't mess with my weed.
