All you need is a DD214 & Honorable Discharge. You don't have to be retired. It's an awesome program that Bud's offers. :cool:

I have to laugh a bit every time I see the IOP mentioned - I had two different reps tell me that the IOP was "canceled" in the wake of Sandy Hook, and after the third attempt at contact, ceased all attempts to contact them.

Post Sandy Hook, they only offer "Individual Officer Pricing" through authorized dealers. HK used to do direct sales on letterhead, doesn't offer that program anymore. GLOCK still does letterhead sales, but the wait is SUPER long (last time I asked, they were 12-16 weeks behind). All in all, I'm totally OK with manufacturers offering IOP through selected dealers - the prices are the same, and I've found the turn-around to be much better.

No idea what Sandy Hook has to do with any of it...

And, to the OP, I hate you. I DON'T need a VP9, I DON'T, I DON'T, I DON'T!
