Trijicon HD's with a Glock 27?

Folks,

Have a colleague who wants to get the HD sights for his Glock 27. I know for my G19's and G26's the .245" front sight is necessary to get POA/POI at 25 yards (with a 6 o'clock hold). That's with 147gr ammunition.

I have divested myself of the 40 caliber, so shoudl I advise him to just buy the set as sold with the .215" tall front? Or should he get some combination of the rears and a taller front? I'm hoping someone has gone through this exercise with the 40 already and can save him the PITA of doing what I had to do with the 9mm's. He uses the 155gr.

Right.

G27 in .40 S&W.

Sights are somewhat irrelevant in terms of sizing.
The recoils of that particular model is noticeable, but manageable.
I'll look into that, I hadn't considered using diffent front / back sizes.

I'm actually using an Amer-Glo Ghost Ring. It's pretty sweet.
