No one wants to fight the naked guy. Seriously. They only needed a viking helmet and to slather some baby oil on first. If you think no one wants to fight the nearly naked guy - they damn sure don't want to fight the greased up naked guy wearing a viking helmet.

For a historical note - my daughter gave me a book on the history of dueling. One problem in the good old days was that the crap from your clothes and the cloth itself pushed into a wound might lead to killing infections. That's why folks were also scared of things like that first SW 22 Short revolver.

One duelist decided he would face his opponent naked in the duel as a lead ball by itself was less of a risk of infection. His opponent refused the duel as it was unmanly to fight naked. Thus, the naked guy 'won' the battle of honor (but tht was debated).

High and/or emotionally disturbed. The last serious fight I had with a naked suspect was a guy who proclaimed himself the Son of God and stripped down outside a mall a few weeks before Christmas. Jesus has really let himself go, much tubbier than the pictures. Shrinkage was not kind to him, either. It was one of those runs I put gloves on while driving to it because I already knew how it was most likely to go down.

Police work.....where a call of a naked woman with a traffic cone on her head in the middle of an intersection is going to be something nobody wants to see or touch. Back in the days when PCP was really prevalent, naked dudes with hard ons was a regular problem. If you ever saw Colors with the guy humping the bunny, it was like that, but naked. The meth overdoses get a lot of this as well, and those are epic fights. Closest I ever came to killing a guy with my hands was a naked meth OD who had already drained a taser. One thing works.....carotid restraints and chokes. For many both are not allowed, which causes a big issue on how to deal with them.

Agreed that the last encounter on the video has a good teaching moment, with the guy with the gun casually removing himself to ambush the two newcomers.

Not sure about your locale, but in most places, all of those things you listed would be considered lethal force. If I'm walking out of the bedroom with lethal force in my hand, it's not going to be something that requires me being within breath smelling distance to use it. Now, a blackjack tucked into my back pocket wouldn't hurt my feelings, but I'll be without pockets because I'm climbing out of bed and fighting naked. Should make for a pretty reliable OODA loop reset too.

I've never had to fight a naked person, but as an EMT I had to pick up a few. They were often wedged between the bathtub and the toilet where they fell in the bathroom.
Large, wet, naked people are amazingly difficult to grasp and move even when they're not fighting you.

They are very hard to mange, and when they are this point their little hearts are humming along well over the 200 beats a minute mark. They are at the amazing strength place with no pain, yet very fragile internally. These assholes often end up dying. Of course then you get to deal with the public about "why the police needed to kill an unarmed naked person". This is why I hate most people....

When you have a blood pressure of 190/90 and a penchant for finding your way into blunt trauma, there are lots and lots of places in your abdomen/thorax that you can bleed into very very quickly...
