But wait, there's more!

"The biggest announcement at Maxim Vice was the reveal of the Maxim 9 - an integrally suppressed 9mm pistol. Never before has a company successfully managed to produce a handgun with an integral silencer that is holsterable and hearing safe with any factory ammunition. This product is primed to take the industry by storm, and we’re proud to to show it to you - our loyal SilencerCo supporters - first."

"We’re keeping exact product details under wraps since it is still in the final design stages, but one thing is certain - the Maxim 9 will forever change the way people think about firearms when they realize that there is no longer any reason guns have to be loud."

Then a little something that has me excited.

"The Hybrid is compatible with pistols, rifles, and submachine guns in calibers up to .458 SOCOM and .45-70 - truly the silencer with the widest array of uses - all while boasting stellar sound reduction. Versatility is one of the main selling points of this silencer, as it can be attached via direct thread mount, piston adapter, and fast attach adapter, all of which will be available at the time Hybrid is officially released."

"This product won’t be fully announced until January 2016, so we are keeping additional details to a minimum. Stay tuned!"

Their new stuff looks great. I don't know if we should start another thread, or if we can retitle this one to "New SiCo Products" and keep the discussion going here as more info comes out. Thanks for posting HB. My Form 4 seems to be lost in the mail, that's another story, but one of these days I'm going to order an Omega 5.56 end cap and several muzzle devices from you.

More SiCo info...

Forgive the crude MS paint copy and past, but this could be a really interest place for a non reciprocating small red dot mount...

Available for order yes, I do not have them in stock however. I should have serial numbers in a few weeks. Looking forward to shooting one.

Speaking of shooting, it was a pleasure to send some rounds downrange with you and <insert user name> today.

How's that Osprey 22 fit in with the SS Sparrow?

I'm not sure a direct comparison can be made, they are so different. Once I get one in-hand, I'll compare the two one the range. Sound suppression is one thing, but hearing one live makes all the difference. Even though one may meter louder, it may be more pleasant to the ear with a lower pitch. Some folks prefer a higher pitch so there is that too.

Hopefully you will have a demo available before Suppress-A-Palooza II.

If not, at least next time we will write down the meter numbers on what cans we will have. Chris brought his meter and we got some great data - that we have only soft copies of, unfortunately.

I will bring a Chrono as well.

I will work on dates and be in touch with you and LL. Plan for sooner than later - I'd love some real numbers on that pistol can when the threaded barrel gets here tomorrow.

I was thinking more in terms of where it sits in their lineup. Is it just a different shaped can that matches their larger Osprey or is it their latest .22 can that might replace the Sparrow SS?

So has anyone noticed that it looks like a M&P9 frame on that bad boy?

Should we take bets on whether it will shoot a sub 6" group at 25 yards out of the box?

If it is integral to the gun...is it still considered a "suppressor"? or NFA item? Can't it just be classified as part of the barrel/slide assembly?

Hard to say, SilencerCo hasn't released full details yet. If the pressure of the .375 or 9.3 are same or less than the rounds mentioned, I imagine you should be ok.

Price is $1500. I will be getting some from the first batch and I'm taking pre-orders now with only a few left.
