Amazon is what I used (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VO8D13K)

I thought it was exceptionally well done. I was shocked to see they actually filmed Snowden as everything was going down in Hong Kong. It would seem to me that they have enough material for another movie.

I'm sure this will turn into a heated argument but Snowden's veracity as I could gauge it through watching his demeanor and mannerisms, plus what he said and how he said it; seemed unimpeachable to me.

I think that this movie is a must see.

Since the giant share of the Snowden exposures were not related to domestic privacy but overseas intelligence operations, did the movie touch on any of that and what the justification or motivation was for such?

I do not have the time right now to read your link (at home taking care of family on telecommute) but yes, the movie touched upon how much more invasive the GCHQ program Tempora is and how much more unfettered the UK's data collection operation upon their own citizens are. GCHQ allowed America to issue real time queries on this collection of data.

It was just an article to accompany the discussion of the larger damage Snowden did to US intelligence gathering activity outside the US where US intelligence agencies are expected to know everything about everything. It's not that valuable a read unless one was unaware of the internal DIA report of the damage Snowden did to mil intelligence activity overseas.

No, the film was very much about the immediate events concerning Snowden before and right after the release of the data and the accompanying articles.

I might have to check it out. I've yet to see anything out of the Snowden leaks that surprised me in the least (I have a little background in information security) so I've been largely ambivalent to the whole flap. Maybe the movie will change my mind.
