This is a bad rifle builder who has been sued many times for lack of payment to suppliers, business partners, and of course, failing to deliver rifles to customers and/or delivering shoddy rifles. Now he is attempting to slide out from under his many upped debts and lost lawsuits by forming a "new company."

Former TR employee Matt Delura sued the owner of TR (the Englishman David Rooney) for $25,000 loaned to Rooney and not repaid. Delura won his lawsuit, Rooney is appealing.

Hornady (yes, that Hornady!) sued Rooney/TR for a unpaid $3k ammo shipment to TR and TR did not show to the hearing so they therefore lost.

Rooney/TR sued Snipershide.com and the gunsmith (http://www.spartanrifles.com) who took the below video of his examination of a malfunctioning TR rifle. Rooney/TR lost.

TR/David Rooney/AmericanPrecisionRifles is not where you should send your money to.

That was one of the most ate-up rifles I've ever seen. It looks like something that I would make with a chisel while on a bourbon binge.

The shoddy worksmanship is apparent and nearly the same in every case.
