View Full Version : Ccc bmc problems

Not wanting to put down any of CCC work and I still love the mag carriers but I ran into a problem and wanted to see if anybody else had this problem and if there is a fix (short of buying new mag carriers). I left one of my mag carriers with a G17 fully loaded mag in the door pocket of my truck for a few days. Well, when I got it out all the retention is gone. It looks normal it just has no retention left in it. I am sure this was caused by the heat but I can't figure out how to fix it. Any ideas?

Compare the fit with one of the good ones, carefully heat it up and bend it in a bit. Let cool.

I always figured it was possible but I have never had it happen to anything before (a Shaggy, Bladetech and Raven gear.)

Be careful with the heat or you will have a flat piece of kydex.

I was expecting a different response from you..........something about "friends don't let friends use kydex":D
