I guess I have to cross TX off as a free state? Is every state going to look WORSE than NJ soon? Environmentalism gone wild...

I think Texas is safe.

I'm embarrassed to point out this was in Florida, in my county, no less. :(

Not that long ago, this wouldn't have happened because of the understood threat of a beat down for ass-hattery. This country is falling apart.

Doh! For some reason Texas came up on the initial video or I just brain-farted. Both are possible...

I read that the Austin City Council was following an enviornmentalist wacko's lead from Florida in trying to ban BBQ restraunts and contain the BBQ aromas in people's backyards.

As I understand - this was voted down several months ago. I can find no record of a recent vote of it - both from minutes of council meetings or headlines from major Texas news outlets. This would definitely be big news in the area.

BLASPHEMY!!!

This is just a bunch of idiots trying to close down Franklin's. If they are ever successful in their efforts, I will personally rent a truck and move Aaron and his pit northward on I-35.

Well, the last time in Austin - I ate in a highly rated but funky ramen joint and a retro hippy type cafe for some good French toast. But they better not shut down Franklin's. How many folk come in Austin for that?

A lot of folks. My coworkers make the pilgrimage about once a month.
