I'm really digging the new Grey frame color. Yes, this has zero to do with function, form, or shootability. I just think they look really cool. Just picked one up in G19 flavor. Gonna ring it out later tonight.

I'm a total sucker for the alternate frame colors; I cannot lie. We (3 family shooters) had great luck with Gen 4s including four 19s so I've not the slightest qualms about them. I can't justify a fourth personal G19 but I'm working on it.

The original grey framed polymer handgun:

Wonder how the Glock grey matches with Wolf Grey.

Just ran 200 115gr FMJ's through it. No BTF with empties thrown positively at 3:30. The trigger on this particular gun is excellent as far as stock Glocks go. Not gritty or mushy in the slightest. Very satisfied so far...

Are these a TALO product?

Special run from Lipsey's...but like the FDE frames, I suspect they'll be around for a bit.

No, Ordered by Lipsey's.

I saw one the other day when I picked up my P2000; they look sharp. Made me think twice.

The gray frame looks good with the new slide color of glocks which I think looks much more gray than black (since Glock dropped the tenifer branded slide treatment, which to me was glossy black)

Has anybody had a problems with the new finish on the slides, barrels since they switched from Tennifer??? Is the new finish as durable? I'm seriously considering buying a grey framed G19, and I'm looking for something that won't rust easily when being carried for a few days at a time..

I have not and I've sweated all over a recent (2nd run) FDE G19.

I only own Gen 4 Glocks at this point. Last year I was pistol hunting with my G22 in a downpour of rain. I sat out there all day, went home, & left the gun in the holster....for several weeks. There was not a spot of rust anywhere, inside or out, on that gun. Glocks are the one gun I don't worry about rust with.

I own both Gen 3 and Gen 4 guns with the old and new finishes - no rust problems on anything but the sights.
