These software-enhanced rifles (http://tracking-point.com/) have been covered here before. Not surprisingly, some computer security nerds started hacking on them as soon as they could get their hands on them. There's a talk at BlackHat (https://www.blackhat.com/us-15/briefings.html#when-iot-attacks-hacking-a-linux-powered-rifle) in a couple of weeks.
