It has a really slick ball bearing flipper type opening, solid liner lock and while I had doubts about the clip, so far it seems to be solid and locks in well.

It is a slick knife. I bought one for my brother in law for Xmas. The clip is kinda weird but its a pretty neat knife otherwise.

The clip is ambidextrous. Being a southpaw myself that's one of the things I look for.
