Has anyone tried ATN's X-sight (http://www.atncorp.com/x-sight-night-vision-rifle-scope-3-12x) "smart optics?" I happened upon them while looking at Cabela's website what caught my attention is that they are advertised as both day and night capable. While reviews seem mediocre at first, it seems they are love/hate. Users who wanted a unit that is good to go out of the box, which I understand, were not happy. Those who did the upgrade and worked with their customer service, which sounds like it is pretty decent, were more content. Considering all the features the scope offers, and a low entry price for the 3x12 unit, under $500 from some vendors, I am leaning toward picking one up to try on a flat top that I recently acquired.
