View Full Version : "Match Saverz" shell holder

Anyone have experience with the "Matchsaverz (https://nordiccomp.com/categories/matchsaverz-shotshell-holder/)" single shell holder?
I'm thinking this would be perfect for keeping a slug handy on my Benelli M4.
I'm curious how well it works and how securely it holds the shell.

Run them on my 1301 and m1s90. It's secure enough for the mass of the shell while running/jumping and through recoil. It is tight enough that it doesn't come out until you want it out.

Before you settle on the final position, you can attach with Velcro to get the angle and height right before drilling the screw hole.

It's pretty handy and after a little practice, it's really fast.

I use Matchsaverz on both of my M2s. They work as advertised.

I run one on my Beretta 1301. It works as intended. Open bolt reloads are as fast as they say in the video. I also run one on my Benelli SBE 2 that I use duck hunting. On numerous occasions I have been able to open bolt reload after my allowed 3 shot, and still drop a duck with the 4th shell from the matchsaverz. The only time I've had a shell fall out was when I was using 3.5" shells and shooting at overhead ducks. A 3.5" with 1.5 oz of BBs hurts when it hits you in the nose! But that is an extreme situation.

Off topic, here: Any word on how well the 1301 handles recoil of really hot slugs/shells? Figure the gas system should help keep it toned down, but curious.
