Well how do you poop with your current rig?

My current rig does not interfere with opening my belt or pants, and stays out of the way when my pants are down. It alters nothing for me compared to not wearing a gun. That doesn't look possible with what i'm going to refer to as "junk carry". I know others use that term to mean aiwb in general, but I think it is more appropriate in this case.

I'm not saying you should choose a holster based on bathroom access, but it is still an issue, especially for those of us that carry 16 hours a day.

I prefer to cut down the medium so it's more like a grip force, as I find the grip force too wide and it affects how the gun points for me. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7394/27145217772_00bc656ae1_b.jpg

Actually they are a little swollen from the weekend's repetitive failure. Fisher's #malfunctionmayhem beat my hands and forearms down harder than any strongman grip routine I've ever tried.

Just found another pocket holster for G43 (with TLR-6) that is a significant improvement over the one I have been using. The old one from Lasermax was a little short allowing the very sharp rear sights to catch and rip my pockets. It also had a corner that would poke my leg when in gym shorts (which is why you see duct tape on it).
http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz209/El_CidAF_ResQ/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_8241_zpswucupwqu.jpg

I saw the new one from Sticky Holsters on Amazon and it had positive reviews so I gave it a shot. Not only is it taller, covering the rear sight... It gives better access to the grip.

I've been interested in the Sidecar but haven't got one yet since there isn't a ton of quality reviews on them.

Are you using any type of foam wedge near the muzzle to tip things closer to your body or do you think it doesn't need it?

Do you think if the mag sat lower in the holster it would conceal better? Looks like it sits really high.

I have had one for an FNS-9L and a u boat. Not a huge fan of it to be frank. It kind of seems like a fad on Instagram. Its larger and kind of bulky. I like my gear to be able to shift around my body, as apposed to being glued together.

Nice. But had you considered getting them in a more pastel shade so that they didn't look all scary and everything? You know, something that would both make a bold fashion statement while at the same time setting a new tone for relations with the "hardened felon" community? It would have been very 2016!

Im sure we will. The turn around on this PO from the distributor was less than a week...I dont think we thought we would see that fast a turn around. We ordered ammo in February and it came in around May. We expected that to be a 6 months wait as well. Now the wait is on for the Safariland 6360 holsters.

For transparencies sake: Overwatch approached me and sent me this trigger for photos/reviews/marketing/etc. I agreed to accept the product because there is no other modification to the pistol other than this drop in trigger.

The trigger is extremely crisp which I really like and I will be doing some work on the range to get a good understanding of how it works.

I do think it would be nice to have a flat faced trigger option that did not change any of the pre-travel aspects of the Glock design.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they sell the trigger shoe separately that you can simply replace the existing OEM shoe on your current trigger bar.

Do you think the crispness may be due to the geometry and the NP3 coating or does the flat face makes it easier to pull the trigger straight back, giving the impression of a crisp pull, or both?

It was my understanding that the shoe was designed to give the Glock series of pistols an option for a trigger with a flat face.

http://overwatchprecision.com/tac-trigger-shoe-only/

The description alludes to that as well as being helpful for reducing initial trigger reach.

Looking forward to your review. I have always preferred flat triggers on 1911's. My favorite AR trigger is Geissele's SD-C with the flat bow. I've avoided after market Glock triggers because I can't alter my duty weapon. I don't want to get spoiled during classes and matches, then get into something on the job where I'll have a Glock with an OEM trigger.

I agree and am in the same boat. However I can carry modified weapons off duty so triggers are in.

I'll be doing a review of the fulcrum in the next few weeks if I have the time, maybe two months. Its not favorable.

So, how is that trigger working out?

The more I shoot with it the more I like it.

With flat face triggers I use the knuckle collapse method of trigger press and it works exceedingly well with a flat face like this. I got a 99 on a b8 at 25 yards, at closer distance it's pretty face too.

I just don't trust aftermarket triggers. Not because there is anything wrong with them or this one, just that I find them too light and disengage the trigger safety to easily.

Is that something (too light and too easy to disengage the trigger safety) you find with that trigger too?

I'm asking because I think the flat face trigger would make it easy to have a good straight press to the rear but the last thing I want is to deviate from OEM norms too much as I would want to use it for carry.

ETA. I don't know what you mean by knuckle collapse method.

ETA. I don't know what you mean by knuckle collapse method.

The first knuckle on your finger, the one between the distal and intermediate phalanx, you allow to collapse as you squeeze the trigger.

You can try this by putting your trigger finger against your thumb in a pinch type motion and allow that first knuckle to go soft as you press down with your trigger finger.

As for the lightness, yes it's too light for duty work in my opinion. For fast shooting and accuracy it's fantastic though.

Fedex just dropped off a couple of the new Magpul GL9 12-round mags for the Glock 26. Overall length is a tiny bit shorter than a G19 but they're also angled back so I would imagine they'd print less. For my hands the pinky extension is a little short and slick so some stippling on it would help.

The GL9 is right about the same length at it's longest point as the grip of the 19 without a mag in. So you're saving maybe 1/8th" OAL but the angle of it should help it conceal better. I need to grab a couple factory +2 extensions to try on OEM mags and see if there's any difference in length and reliability. My Glock 19 GL9's have been great so far but I only have a couple hundred rounds through them.

Question though - have you had any feeding issues with that mag? It looks like the G17 TTI extension. TTI now makes a +5/6 for the G19/23 mags.

I never meant to imply that it is the standard for anyone else. That's why I said "for me" Thanks for pointing that out though, I guess. It does seem to be a pretty versatile holster as far as those things go. After having the 2.0 and the 2.5 I really have to agree that it's a pretty personal choice with a lot of different variables to consider, with each person having a different order of priority, and different thresholds for each.

Pic thread.
A few years ago. My buddy's (maybe it's his wife's. Not sure) 19 gen 3, his 23 gen 3, my 17 gen 4, his 34 gen 4. All these guns were NY guns sporting 10 rounders at the time. Man, that's sad.

New (to me) baby poop 3rd gen Glock 26. SN suggests it was manufactured in 2005 but it looks like it's never seen the inside of a holster. Internals are clean too - I'd guess under 200 rounds of quality, clean burning ammunition.

Love these little guns. About time I got a backup to the one I already owned.

I think it's a Pearce+1. Just ordered some from Brownells.
Looks like it gives the gun with a stock 10 round OEM magazine a much more secure grip, similar to the PMag, and with no loss of concealability.

Since I have somehow accumulated lots of G26 magazines over a period of several years, I can now add these and rotate them.

Just went through 50 pages of awesome ;)!

Any recommendations for an AIWB light bearing holster for a Glock 19/TLR1?

One or more of the supporting business (JMCK, Dark Star, CCC) should be able to help you out.

Thank you, I checked out JMCK before I posted and didn't see any light options. Ill email them and see what can be done.

My trusty old Gen 2, 17. Been chopped and stippled, and slide was coated with Brownells Teflon Moly (Duracoat was kind of a new thing back then.), runs some G34 factory parts, and night sights.

Been a dependable pistol as long as I've had it. (Roughly 14 years.). Bought it for $275 as a pretty used up Police Trade in. Took it to the Glock factory when I was stationed in GA. Got updated parts, including the G34 parts at that time (2005/6ish).

Probably getting due for another slide coating someday soon.
