Well, Steel Challenge involves drawing and shooting, right? As long as the rules allow it, I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well as it does for some folks in USPSA.

Pretty much what I figured.

Many of us did the whole week at Rogers (all steel) from AIWB, but I did ditch the cover garment after a very short amount of time.

Without the cover garment, OWB doesn't have much of a time advantage over AIWB, at least for me.

$20 for 6 stages, starts at 8AM. Seems like a no brainer.

Definitely. Steel matches are a lot of fun. Good luck and have fun!

Go for it. I took first place out of about 70 shooters my first match. It's addictive.

most of the uspsa rules govern steel challenge. i have been directly told by uspsa that mag limits are governed by uspsa. and the SC rules do mention uspsa equipment rules. so i'd say aiwb wouldn't be legal for production or single stack. i'm not aware of an aiwb exclusion for ltd or open but haven't seen anyone do that for obvious reasons (slower).

You kicked ass the time I was there.
