Hey all, it's that time of year again!
Time for the 3rd annual Lea County Action Shooters (http://www.leaactionshooters.com/) charity match to benefit Operation 300 (http://www.operation300.com/) .
Operation 300 (http://www.operation300.com/) is an awesome grassroots charity that's very gun and warrior friendly!
Please go to their web site (http://www.operation300.com/) and learn about them and you'll agree they're worth supporting.
I'm the President of the LCAS and the match director.

The first year we held this match we raised around $3000, last year we raised $7000 and this year we're trying to double it again to $15,000!
To do that we need shooters and sponsors!
If you live in West Texas or New Mexico it's worth the drive to Hobbs, NM for the match and the fun.
The match will be held at the Hobbs Gun Club, Hobbs, NM on May 30th 2015. Sign in starts at 8:00am Mountain time and the match starts at 9:00am.
Match fee is only $35 and includes lunch!
We already have 2 guns on the raffle table including a M&P and a Colt AR.
If you want to support our effort, raffle prizes are needed. You guys know that matches need shooters and shooters show up for big prize tables.
If you can help me out in any way with raffle prizes, PM, call or email me (my contact info is on the LCAS web site (http://www.leaactionshooters.com/)).
If you can distribute our match flyer to anybody you think might be interested just contact me and I'll send you the .PDF

Thanks all!

Are you doing shirts again? I'd be glad to throw down again for some shirts.

Yes sir. I'm waiting on a box of the new design right now. I think we'll have hats as well this year. I'll post pics and prices when I get them in.

We're already close to $3000 is sponsorship!
We're also starting a GoFundMe page tonight for people who can't make the match but want to help out with the total.
It's starting to look like $15,000+ is a doable goal.
We still need some raffle prizes, both large and small. If you know anyone who wants to help us out contact me.

The Go Fund Me (http://www.gofundme.com/u4ph94w) page has been setup for anyone who can't attend the match but still wants to help us support Operation 300.
We have over $3500 in monetary donations "in hand" right now and we're hoping to have $5000 in hand before match signups start.
We think we can raise around $7500 on match day.
$10k to $15k would go a looooong ways with Operation 300.

I should have T-shirts in the next week or so.

How long will that Go Fund Me page be up?
Probably until June 1st.
We will send the check to Operation 300 as soon as we can get everything collected and totalled after the match.

Operation 300 has their own Dreamfund page (https://www.dreamfund.com/dream/overview/1545/help-operation-300-get-a-permanent-home) as well if someone wants to donate directly or after we close our page.

In addition to the M&P, AR and case of 9mm on the raffle table we also have a Yeti cooler and a ton of stuff from Ergo Grip and other companies.

Friday night... 50mph winds, hail and pouring rain.
I had to delay the match start by two hours so we could completely rebuild the stages from scratch.
Turnout was somewhat suppressed by the weather and we only had 61 shooters instead of the 75-100 we anticipated.
Nevertheless we still raised $9400 for Operation 300 which is a new high!
I have some shirts that I'll be offering up for sale shortly (some new designs this year) and along with the 3 big buckets of brass we'll sell we should come out right at $10,000.
The Pistol-Forum.com case of 9mm was raffled off to a 12 year old boy who was very excited to use it in his new 9mm M&P. I was happy to see that it went to someone who was excited to turn it into smoke, noise and holes on target.
Thanks to all who donated!

I'm going to crawl into a hole and die today, two 18hour days on the range and stressing about organizing the match have beat me down.

Good stuff Tom!

Waiting on the details for the swag to purchase. The shirts last year were the bomb and hold up very well. I'll need at least 6-10 in various sizes. Ball caps would be great to for the range bag as well.

Sorry I didn't get shirts up for sale sooner but they showed up via overnight shipping at my house the afternoon before the match.

Ok. Here are the T's I have left after match day:
3 - red RED men's Large
1 - women's dark grey XL
1 - light grey men's XXL
9 - light grey men's XL
4 - light grey men's L
You can see the designs on the Op300 site. The shirts run slightly small in all sizes.
$25 each and that includes shipping.
Just PM me and we'll get it out to you.

I'm not sure what sizes and styles Jody has left, but you can always buy directly form the Operation 300 gear page (http://www.operation300.com/Page/gear):

I'm pretty sure my wife is going to want one of everything.
Every lady loved the fitted camo hoodies. Those sold out in about 10 minutes.
