I ran into one in 20ga at a pawn shop in about 90% condition with the barrel cut to 18"; they want 250 for it. Having a hard time finding information about them online except that the action is a Williams design. Does anyone have one, or experience with them? Are they reliable, what parts break, are they picky on ammo?
I want it in a bad way; it's got nice wood, deep bluing, and there's just something cool about a nice walnut and steel shotgun with a short barrel. Plus it's a pre-64 winchester and those are hard to turn down.

Thanks in advance.

I've got one that came from my dad (12ga) and he has a 12 and a 20. We have never had problems, but they were never really run hard...just used for hunting and the occasional clay pigeon.
