Is here (http://rationalgun.blogspot.com/2011/08/viddy-well-my-droogs-viddy-well.html) of "Prince of Thorns" by Mark Lawrence. If you don't want to clicky, basically it's a medieval/fantasy novel written in homage to "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess.

I really liked it. It's dark, there's murder and rape, no morals whatsoever. But I didn't know what was coming and I appreciate that.

Author is one of those pro-gun English types. An endangered breed, methinks.

We seem to have similar tastes in fiction. I'll try and check it out at some point.

I really dig reading fiction about the idea of the singularity.

This book blew my mind. http://books.google.com/books/about/Accelerando.html?id=GWOtGAAACAAJ

I am not sure if it's free on the google site, but the author has made it available for free under the creative commons license, I believe. If I remember I downloaded the epub file straight from his website.

I would also recommend accelerando. Great book. I read it at fuse's suggestion.

I will check it out. Currently rereading the Blade Itself by Joe Abercombie in order to review it.
