Had one of those "Duh. I am stupid. Why didn't I realize this before?" moments the other day.
I've always found belt-loop holsters slightly irritating because putting them on and taking them off required unthreading my belt to get it in place. As I moved more towards an AIWB style position, it became more irritating as I had to basically take the belt off entirely.
Then I realized something. It's because I've always threaded my belt clockwise around my body. If I thread it counter-clockwise, I can get holsters on and off my right hip just by unbuckling the belt and slipping it on. All that effort all this time because I didn't slow down and think things through.
Maybe I'll save someone else the consternation. ;)
