Wilson Combat Beretta 92 rear sights

Anybody out there put these on their plane jane 92's? If so, I'd like to pick your brain. How they working out as far as likes/dislikes?

What height seems to be the preferred one to raise the POI from the drive the dot hold the 92 comes with to a more traditional top of the front sight POI?

How hard was the installation?

Also, if any of ya used Novaks before, the height used to get the POI on top of the front sight info would be helpful too.

I had mine installed by Wilson Combat when they did my G conversion. I had the Novaks originally on it and I told them to match the new rear sight to them. The sight picture is great and allow for quick acquisition of the front sight. The bottleneck will always be the front sight.

I bought the .270 and they shot 4" or so high at 25 yards. I swapped them for Novak .278 and they shoot an inch or so above the front sight blade on my gun with 135 gr RNFP Xtreme.

I just used a brass punch for the installations.

Thus far I like it a lot, having put one of both of my 92's. One pistol shoots POA/POI at 25 yards, the other shoots about 2 inches high at 25 yards, both with a 125 grain bullet. This is with the .270" sight. I like the ledge feature on the front of the sight so I haven't obsessed over POA/POI, they both work for my purposes. They weren't any easier or harder to install than any other dovetail mounted sight. This means it's an easy swap if you have a modicum of mechanical ability. Both of mine fit tightly enough it the dovetail that the set screw is just a formality.

What's the notch width on the Novak's?

I would have said .125 but when I take calipers to it I see something more like .140.

I like whatever is on my BrigTac... Not sure what the dimensions are on the rear sight.
